Terms and insurance, made clear
Read the practical rental requirements, included cover, return-time rule and vehicle-use guidance before confirming your Crete booking.
Age & licence
Valid licence required. Drivers aged 18–21 can rent with the young-driver fee; Full Insurance is not available for this age group.
Cover included
TPL, CDW and Theft Protection are included. Full Insurance with zero excess is available for eligible drivers.
No deposit
No security deposit is required and no money is blocked on your card.
RENTAL DETAILS
Rental requirements
- Age: There is no strict minimum age limit as long as you hold a valid driving licence. Drivers aged 18–21 can rent a vehicle with a daily young-driver fee. Full Insurance is not available for drivers aged 18–21.
- Driving licences: We accept licences issued in European Union countries, the USA, Canada and Australia. Licences from other countries are accepted with a valid International Driving Permit where required. A non-EU licence must be in Latin characters, have an official translation, or be accompanied by a valid IDP.
- Security deposit: No security deposit is required. No money is blocked on your card.
Insurance included
Every rental includes Third Party Liability (TPL), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP). You may upgrade to Full Insurance with zero excess for additional peace of mind. Full Insurance is not available for drivers aged 18–21.
Rental day definition
A return made before 09:00 does not add an extra rental day. Any return after 09:00 is charged as an additional rental day.
Vehicle use
- Only authorised drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.
- Use of the vehicle is restricted to Crete unless we have given written approval in advance.
- Drive responsibly and comply with Greek traffic regulations. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off-road driving and use on unpaved roads are prohibited.
- In the event of an accident, contact us immediately and do not leave the scene before following the required reporting procedure.
Delivery, collection and changes
We can deliver and collect vehicles across Crete, including airports, ports and hotels. Please provide your preferred location during booking. For booking changes or rental extensions, contact our team as early as possible; all extensions are subject to availability.
